Malgré la menace terroriste et le chaos international, Paris+ par Art Basel, la foire d'art moderne et contemporain, qui rassemblait 154 galeries de 33 pays, a été un grand succès. Elle a également été le témoin du "Hold-up Culturel du Luxe", comme nous l'appelons Julie El Ghouzzi et moi-même. En effet, Louis Vuitton, la "Maison Culturelle" comme l'a nommé Bernard Arnault, a encore étendu son territoire. Partenaire au niveau mondial d'Art Basel, elle a marqué les esprits via son stand en forme de malle géante, tout simplement incontournable, inspirée par la Copper Malle Courrier de Pharrell Williams (motif du podium de son premier défilé).
À l'intérieur, c'est toute une collection d'artistes stars ayant collaboré avec la maison : Takashi Murakami, Damien Hirst, Stephen Sprouse, Richard Prince, Yan Pei-Ming... À noter, une peinture IA intitulée Finding LV par Refik Anadol.
Clou du spectacle, la présentation des cinq nouveaux sacs Artycapucines, signés par Ewa Juszkiewicz, Liza Lou, Tursic & Mille, Ziping Wang et Billie Zangewa. Le message envoyé est d'une clarté de cristal : le sac Vuitton est une œuvre d'art, comme les autres !.

Despite the terrorist threat and international chaos, Paris+ by Art Basel, the modern and contemporary art fair, which gathered 154 galleries from 33 countries, was a great success. She also witnessed the "Cultural Hold-up of Luxury", as we call it Julie El Ghouzzi and myself. Indeed, Louis Vuitton, the "Maison Culturelle" as named by Bernard Arnault, has further expanded its territory. A global partner of Art Basel, she made an impression with her stand in the shape of a giant trunk, simply a must-see, inspired by Pharrell Williams' Copper Malle Courrier (motif on the podium of her first show).
Inside, it is a whole collection of star artists who have collaborated with the house: Takashi Murakami, Damien Hirst, Stephen Sprouse, Richard Prince, Yan Pei-Ming... Note, an AI painting entitled Finding LV by Refik Anadol.
Highlight of the show, the presentation of the five new Artycapucines bags, signed by Ewa Juszkiewicz, Liza Lou, Tursic & Mille, Ziping Wang and Billie Zangewa. The message sent is crystal clear: the Vuitton bag is a work of art, like the others!
