Louis Vuitton torna con la collezione ArtyCapucines: 5 artisti per 5 borse uniche al mondo
La formula è la stessa, ma ogni volta è una sorpresa, un’emozione che non ti aspetti. Artisti leggendari, chiamati reinterpretare una borsa altrettanto iconica, e a renderla un pezzo da museo, da portare comodamente al braccio. La Capucines di Louis Vuitton a pois colorati firmata da Nicolas Ghesquière e Yayoi Kusama, segnò uno dei primi capitoli delle collaborazioni artistiche della maison francese. In un attimo divenne molto più di una it-bag, un’opera da collezionare che, approdata nei negozi, finì nei guardaroba delle star più blasonate del mondo. Poi ci furono Stephen Sprouse, Takashi Murakami, Richard Prince e Jeff Koons. Ad oggi, la liaison tra Vuitton e l’arte continua, con le celebrazioni del quinto capitolo di ArtyCapucines.
Lanciata per la prima volta nel 2013, la borsa Capucines di Louis Vuitton prende il nome dalla strada parigina che nel 1854 ospitò la prima boutique della Maison: Rue des Neuves-Capucines. Si tratta di una creazione dalle linee semplici, essenziali ma mai banale, capace di distinguersi nel panorama delle borse-icona per la sua modernità senza tempo. Negli anni è diventata un classico, uno di quei modelli distintivi che è catalogabile tra gli acquisti investimento, di quelli che “non sbagli mai”. Ed è anche la tela perfetta per permettere ad artisti internazionali di punta di esprimere la propria creatività, presentandone di anno in anno nuove esclusive versioni in edizione limitata per la collezione Artycapucines.
Negli anni sono in tutto 29 gli artisti che si sono alternati con questa tela bianca d’eccezione, tra i nomi famosi in tutto il mondo ci sono Ugo Rondinone, Paola Pivi, Urs Fischer, solo per citarne alcuni. Quest’anno, ad avere l’onore di decorare con la propria arte uno tra gli accessori più famosi del marchio, regalando al pubblico una collezione esclusiva composta da soli 200 pezzi, sono artisti protagonisti della scena contemporanea: Billie Zangewa, Ewa Juszkiewicz, Liza Tou, Tursic & Millie e Ziping Wang.
