Welcoming Claudia Keep to Galerie Marguo

Galerie Marguo is thrilled to announce its representation of American artist Claudia Keep, in close collaboration with March Gallery, New York.

Renowned for her intimate, small-scale compositions, Claudia Keep masterfully captures the beauty of rural landscapes, domestic interiors, and fleeting moments of everyday life. Her works elevate the familiar, exploring the interplay of light, color, and atmosphere with a profound sensitivity that turns ordinary scenes into enduring visual narratives.

“Claudia’s work invites us to slow down and notice the beauty in the quiet, unassuming moments of life. Her ability to reimagine the seemingly mundane as something luminous and profound is truly captivating,” says Vanessa Guo, co-founder of Galerie Marguo.

Following Claudia Keep’s debut solo exhibition with Galerie Marguo in Paris, Somehow, Somewhere, Someway, and her first solo exhibition in Asia, Shimmering Waves, presented in partnership with the gallery at LMDS Shanghai, 2024 has been a remarkable year of collaboration between Marguo and Claudia Keep. In addition to these key exhibitions, Galerie Marguo has supported Claudia’s participation in several international art fairs and external projects. Looking ahead, Galerie Marguo, in partnership with March Gallery, is excited to champion Claudia’s evolving practice and further expand her presence across audiences in Europe, Asia, and America.

Born in 1993 in Low Moor, Virginia, Claudia Keep is currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA from Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania. Keep’s work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across the United States and internationally, and she has been featured in notable publications such as The Paris Review, Plant Magazine, and Harper’s Magazine.

Galerie Marguo warmly welcomes Claudia Keep and looks forward to this exciting new chapter of artistic collaboration and discovery.
