LEAVE ME ALONE was an iconic garment made popular in the early 80's, printed in black text on an intentionally oversized t-shirt. It was a knockoff of a line by the British designer Katharine Hamnett. The shirts functioned as public address and resistance, like protest signs, and also generated proceeds that were donated to various causes.
